I've never used Corel, but I've used photshop in school, and I loved it.

Hmm im not sure what Corel is. .
But I bet I am more familiar with ps then anything else

although i'm familiar with ps- corel not so much. i know a lot of my friends that have used it, but i do think ps has generally a larger following?

I always thought photoshop is great for altering and corel is for the fine artist that doesn't want to get his/her hands dirtied.

I mostly use Photoshop, so I think it's better. I used Corel a little bit, but I only had it as a trial, and I didn't like it as much as Photoshop. I generally like using Photoshop better than Corel. Corel was a little bit complicated for me and I had a hard time trying to figure out how to use it even w/ tutorials :tongue: SOO THE WINNER FOR ME IS............
PHOTOSHOP!

i use photoshop most of the time when it comes to graphics and all. corel is a bit confusing for me when i have been using photoshop most of the time but it is still a good program for when i'm using my tablet to edit some photos..

for me it's totally photoshop > corel

...then again, i haven't used corel since i was in elementary school and that was awhileeee ago. But according to my friends, i don't use photoshop as a photo-editing. I use it the way other people would use adobe illustrator.

I've got to say, it takes some time to get use to but i think it's totally worth it because you can do a lot of different things with it =)

Er, I'm confused as to what Corel product is this topic talking about? Painter? Paint Shop Pro? Corel has more than one software out! If you mean Corel in general, wouldn't Adobe VS. Corel make more sense?
